Tour of Flanders:

Country:
 Belgium
Length: 267km
First edition: 1913
Also known as: De Ronde, Ronde van Vlaanderen
Rider with most wins: Tom Boonen, Fabian Cancellara, Johan Museeuw, Achiel Buysse, Fiorenzo Magni, Eric Leman (all three wins)

Although it is still over a hundred years old, the Tour of Flanders is the youngest of the five Monuments. Its route is one of the toughest: a series of short, sharp hills and cobbled sections constantly whittle down the peloton and help to form attacks, breaks and splits.
Riders jostle for position before the base of each climb, and then use pure strength to make it out of the top in the lead – only to do it all again shortly afterwards. It’s a fascinating race to watch unfurl and always provides great drama and a worthy winner.

The Belgian Club Victoria (BCV) is organising in cooperation with the Melbourne City Football Club (MCFC) an event around Ritchie De Laet and the football club. This is your chance to follow a MCFC game and meet Ritchie De Laet afterwards.
The event is organised on Saturday 13 April when MCFC plays against Adelaide United.
Not only will we see some great football and meet Ritchie afterwards, but the MCFC has also organised a tour of AAMI Park and access to City Square before the game. City Square is an area at Gosch's Paddock where fans gather before the game and have some food, a few drinks and listen to live music. https://www.melbournecityfc.com.au/city-square

This is how the day would look like:
3pm - 3.30pm: Tour of AAMI Park
3.30pm - 5.30pm: Access to City Square
5.35pm - 7.30pm: Melbourne City - Adelaide Utd
8.30pm - ?: Meet and greet with Ritchie De Laet (times to be confirmed)
There is an attendance limit for the tour and the meet and greet. We're currently confirming the numbers with MCFC.

MCFC has advised that this offer is only available to MCFC members and they're offering a 3-game membership for $50 to anyone wishing to attend this event. There are 3 more home games to be played this season so you can make full use of their offer and get a meet and greet with Ritchie on top of that!

If you want to take up the offer from MCFC and attend our event, please email us before 25 March the following details of all the people taking up the membership offer:
1. Name + Surname
2. Email Address
3. Phone Number
4. Address
Please email to: belgianclubvictoria@gmail.com

We will need to forward the numbers to MCFC by 25 March so please email us beforehand!

See you at the football!
