 Before you are allowed to move to Australia or even just to visit the country, you need to get a visa for yourself and your dependants. There are many different categories and it may take a while to find the most suitable option for you. A lot depends on the goal of your visit and your personal situation. A few examples are a student visa, a tourist visa, a working holiday visa, a sponsored visa, ... Be aware that there are certain requirements, fees and restrictions linked to each type of visa.
